i can't shake the feeling: i can tell... there's more to this than meets the reading eye

i found out today
i love to hear about him
there were others before me
and he makes you happy
and i keep keep saying
i'm almost jealous
it doesn't matter
not quite
it shouldn't matter
jealous, you gasp
it doesn't matter
of me?
but i can't shake the feeling of...
of him
i told you once that i was good at figuring people out
well, i am
well, i am
you are consumed by this
and i think that scares you
you know i can only imagine
this game you play
but i can tell you this
you don't want anyone to know
he is like the flame
this game
and we are like the fire
game
flames leap and then are gone
game
am i your game?
the fire lingers
you get tired of it sometimes
dying slowly
i can tell
the embers glowing
i can tell
i can tell
remember?

that is a really really good poem!! i love it!!! something tells me it's about a certain boy... i might even know of this certain boy... then again i may be completely wrong in my assumption. then again the scientists may be wrong about the world being round, maybe it's all an illusion... i'm serious! how would we know???

this is completely off subject, nevermind.

i loved your poem!

it's not about a boy...more about an old woman and a young woman making the same mistakes.

also, I wasn't sure whether I wanted to tell anyone this, or if anyone got this, but it's really two poems. Try reading the white and the black seperatly
